  • Contractual Agreements: We encourage each student-athlete to carefully review the NILMA model regarding athlete agreements, revenue splits, and liability clauses with a licensed attorney. We’ve built them to protect both the athletes and the College/University but you should always have an e licensed attorney experienced in NIL review any NIL Agreement before you sign it.
  • LLC Structures: You may also wish to obtain expert legal advice on the implications of potentially forming an LLC (Limited Liability Company) for tax and liability purposes. They can help you determine how this fits with university and NCAA guidelines.
  • State-Specific Regulations: NIL regulations vary by state. It’s important you understand relevant State laws impacting student-athlete compensation and promotional activities.
  • University Policies: We’ve built NILMA to ensure alignment with your college or University’s existing policies on student conduct, use of the university’s name and logo, and potential conflicts of interest.
